This position plays a vital role in serving families by providing the dignified and respectful transportation of deceased individuals from hospitals, nursing homes, residences, hospices, medical examiner offices, and other locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in serving others with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities Respond promptly to removal calls throughout Southwest Florida. Safely and respectfully transport decedents to the funeral home or crematory. Interact professionally with families, healthcare staff, hospice personnel, law enforcement, and otherprofessionals. Complete all required documentation accurately and thoroughly. Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and professional condition. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and state regulations. Assist with additional funeral home and crematory operations as needed. Qualifications Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds with assistance and proper equipment. Professional appearance and excellent communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally sensitive situations. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Previous experience in mortuary transport, funeral service, EMS, healthcare, or customer service ispreferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Schedule Full-time Must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and an on-call rotation as needed.
