Oahu Pet Crematory is looking for a dependable and compassionate Pet Cremation Operator and Driver. While cremating pets is an unconventional job; the position offers opportunities for individuals interested in learning a new trade. Our team members play a vital role in providing respectful, dignified care for beloved pets during their final journey. This position combines hands-on cremation procedures with compassionate client support and safe transportation of remains. You will ensure that every pet's transition is handled with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to industry standards. Duties Safely operate cremation equipment ensuring proper setup, operation, and post-process handling Pick up deceased pets from veterinary hospitals, shelters, and residences. Assist clients with cremation arrangements, offering emotional support and guiding them through ceremonial options and post-cremation services. Maintain accurate record keeping of all cremation procedures, transport logs, and regulatory documentation. Deliver cremated remains, urns, and memorial items to veterinary partners or families. Maintain cleanliness of facility and company vehicle Skills/Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to lift and transport deceased pets of varying sizes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide emotional support to grieving clients Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to learn how to operate cremation equipment and work in an industrial setting. Must be punctual and maintain regular, predictable attendance. Experience in veterinary, funeral, delivery or related fields is a plus but not required. All aspects of the position can be trained and learned hands-o. The business operates Monday-Saturday and scheduled shifts are typically from 7-8am until 3-4pm. Occasionally shifts may be longer depending on the workload. Sharing of Saturday shifs is necessary.
