Compensation The estimated pay for this position is

  • $29.
8234 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role through differentials, incentives, and bonuses. In addition, this position may be eligible for participation and company contributions into 401(k). As an Esthetician, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve and maintain healthy and radiant skin through a range of personalized skincare and beauty treatments. Your expertise in skincare techniques, product knowledge, and client interaction will contribute to enhancing the overall well-being and self-confidence of clients. You will work within a spa, salon, or skincare clinic setting to provide exceptional esthetic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation and Assessment:
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their skincare concerns, goals, and preferences. Analyze clients' skin conditions, including texture, tone, and specific issues, to recommend suitable treatments. Discuss available skin care services, products, and treatment plans, providing information on benefits, risks, and expected outcomes.
Skincare Treatments:
Facials for cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration. Extractions to remove impurities and blackheads. Chemical peels to address pigmentation, texture, and skin tone. Microdermabrasion for skin resurfacing and renewal. Waxing and threading for hair removal. Brow and lash treatments, including tinting and shaping. Perform a variety of skincare procedures tailored to clients' needs, such as:
Product Knowledge and Recommendations:
Educate clients about skincare products, providing guidance on selecting appropriate products for their skin type and concerns. Recommend skincare routines and homecare products to maintain and enhance treatment results.
Massage and Relaxation Techniques:
Provide facial massages and relaxation techniques to promote circulation, relaxation, and improved skin tone. Apply specialized massage techniques to enhance the overall experience for clients.
Hygiene and Safety:
Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene practices in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Sterilize equipment, tools, and treatment areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Client Education and Aftercare:
Instruct clients on post-treatment care, offering guidance on skin care routines, sun protection, and lifestyle factors that impact skin health. Address client questions and concerns, providing clear and accurate information.
Appointment Management:
Schedule client appointments, manage treatment timings, and maintain an organized schedule.
Sales and Upselling:
Promote retail skincare products and additional treatments, offering personalized recommendations to address client needs.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on the latest skincare trends, techniques, and products through continuous education and training. Attend workshops, seminars, and industry events to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Valid esthetician license in the jurisdiction where you practice. In-depth knowledge of skincare techniques, products, and industry trends. Strong understanding of different skin types, conditions, and treatment modalities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients effectively. Ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs while adhering to safety protocols. Attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a spa or salon team.
