Perform massage and body treatment services offered by The Spa at CCCR. serves as a lead for the massage therapists, providing training and leadership to team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for training new staff on all massage services, body treatments and department related retail products offered by The Spa at CCCR. Responsible for maintaining high quality guest service by conducting periodical skill test of department members. Review department schedule on daily basis to ensure staffing efficiency and needs. Attend regularly scheduled meetings with management to ensure, maintain and improve department performance and service quality. Ensure the massage department operates according to CCCR & The Spa policies in all aspects. Perform massage and body treatment services offered by The Spa at CCCR. Basic knowledge of human anatomy and have the ability to handle related questions. Perform the following massage techniques, but not limited to: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Reflexology, and Hot Stone. Create and maintain a professional, friendly, and elegant spa environment for all patrons. Ensure professional, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service at all times. Promote cohesive and collaborative work environment with fellow associates. Check all tools, equipment and amenities related to the spa treatment rooms to ensure satisfactory working condition and inventory level. Upkeep the cleanliness and organization of The Spa at all times. Clean and sanitize workstation and related equipment after each guest. Attend all product knowledge and motivational training program, meeting, and work-related events. Conduct monthly inventory control task for massage department. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Must be able to work all shift hours.
SELLING, PROMOTIONS AND SALES GOAL
Full knowledge of all body care retail products offered at The Spa at CCCR. Full knowledge of all services provided in The Spa and cross sell services. Promote and cross sell non-massage and body treatment related spa services to guests. Promote body care retail product offered by The Spa at CCCR to all guests with explanations of features and benefits of the products. Meet monthly retail sales goal of 15%. Initiate and participate in self-promotional activities. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. Experience and/or Education Must have a minimum of 500 hours as a massage therapist and valid CMT (Certified Massage Therapist) certificate issued by an official and legal institution. Three years related experience and/or training; Bachelor's degree (B.A.); or equivalent combination of experience and education. Age Requirement Must be at least 18 years of age. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License. CMT (Certified Massage Therapist) certificate issued by an official and legal institution.
