Medical Esthetician & Post-Operative Lymphatic Therapist - PRN SoCal Aesthetic Surgery Irvine, California SoCal Aesthetic Surgery, a facial plastic surgery practice in Irvine, is seeking an experienced, personable Medical Esthetician / Lymphatic Massage Therapist to join our practice on a part-time, PRN basis. This position is ideal for an esthetician with experience in a plastic surgery or medical aesthetics environment who is comfortable providing high-quality skincare services, educating patients, recommending treatments and products, and assisting with the postoperative recovery experience. Responsibilities Provide customized facials and skincare treatments within esthetician scope Perform gentle postoperative manual lymphatic drainage for appropriate surgical patients Educate patients on skincare, treatments, and postoperative care Recommend appropriate skincare products and aesthetic services Help introduce existing surgical patients to additional aesthetic and skincare services Maintain treatment rooms and appropriate documentation Provide a polished, high-touch patient experience Ideal Candidate Current California esthetician license 3+ years of experience in aesthetics, med spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery preferred CAMTC certification and training in manual lymphatic drainage strongly preferred Post-surgical lymphatic drainage experience is a major plus Strong knowledge of professional skincare and facial treatments Comfortable discussing and recommending products and aesthetic services Professional, warm, dependable, and sales-oriented without being overly aggressive Strong communication and patient-service skills Schedule PRN / as needed. Hours will vary based on surgical and aesthetic patient volume and are not guaranteed. Treatments will generally be grouped into scheduled blocks with advance notice. This position has the potential to expand as our aesthetic services grow. Compensation Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, with additional commission/incentive opportunities for eligible aesthetic services and retail product sales.
