Role:

Dermacare is proud to be the premier medical aesthetics and plastic surgery on the Southern Coast of California, with four locations! We are seeking an experienced Medical Aesthetician to ensure patient satisfaction and build their patient-clientele portfolio with Diamond Glow, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microdermabrasions, and facials in a fully onsite role, at our Rancho Bernardo location. The Medical Aesthetician will be responsible for providing best-in-class service to the patients at Dermacare. The Medical Aesthetician will be part of a team of providers all dedicated to the latest advances in medical aesthetics and is expected to work harmoniously with all departments for team success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform medical aesthetic treatments in a fast paced, team motivated environment, including but not limited to: Diamond Glow, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatments Develop comprehensive, customized skin care treatment plans and convert to paying patients. Develop strong, long-standing relationships with patients in the community. Accurate charting and clinical documentation of each client Participate in marketing events and seminars. Has excellent sales & consultative skills with the ability to educate patients about the benefits of treatments and products. Additional duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

COMPETENCIES

2 years proven experience in performing aesthetic treatment. Valid esthetics license Self- driven and self-motivated, little to no guidance needed to complete tasks Excellent communication skills Good organizational skills and follow-through Passionate about the spa industry and committed to the spa team Strong customer service orientation, patient and able to multitask Flexible and cooperative Pays attention to detail High energy, able to work in fast-paced environment Able to work well under pressure For professional growth seeks out knowledge and enjoys learning and teaching Polished and professional manner of conducting business

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected or normal vision and hearing to normal range. Fast paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, near moving mechanical parts.
