Job Description

Licensed Esthetician / Laser Esthetician - Independent Contractor Dewskin Skincare & Aesthetics is looking for a talented, motivated, and business-minded Licensed Esthetician or Laser Esthetician to join our studio as a 1099 independent contractor . This is a great opportunity for an experienced esthetician who wants the freedom and earning potential of working independently without the overhead of owning a spa. You'll have access to a beautiful treatment space, professional equipment, established systems, medical-grade skincare, and support from the Dewskin brand while building your own schedule and clientele. We are especially interested in someone with experience in laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, advanced facials, and medical-grade skincare sales . Experience with 1064 and/or 532 wavelength laser treatments is a strong plus. Dewskin recently added a Chrome Lase Station by Cartessa , offering a variety of advanced skin treatments. This position is ideal for someone who is confident, self-motivated, great with clients, active in promoting their services, and excited to grow within a boutique aesthetics environment. What You'll Do Perform customized facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, and other advanced esthetic services Conduct thorough consultations and recommend treatment plans based on each client's skin goals Educate clients on medical-grade skincare and confidently recommend home-care products Maintain accurate client records using Square POS and Aesthetic Record Follow all safety, sanitation, and treatment protocols Maintain a clean, organized, professional treatment space Assist with scheduling, client communication, and basic front desk support as needed Help promote your services through referrals, networking, social media, and client relationships Stay current on skincare trends, treatment protocols, and product knowledge Who We're Looking For Valid Colorado Esthetician License 4+ years of experience in a spa, med spa, or clinical aesthetics setting preferred Experience with advanced treatments such as facials with extractions, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, and lasers Existing clientele or strong ability to build a clientele independently Comfortable promoting yourself and your services through social media, networking, referrals, and word of mouth Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills Professional, reliable, organized, and able to work independently Willing to work at least 2-3 days per week, with some evening and/or weekend availability preferred Must carry appropriate professional liability/malpractice insurance Bonus skills include injectables if you are also an RN, NP, or PA, as well as permanent makeup experience. Compensation This is a commission-based 1099 contractor position . Commission is tiered from 30-40% for skincare treatments 20-25% commission on retail product sales 100% of tips, minus processing fees Bonus opportunities available Estimated earning range: $60-$140+ per hour depending on service type, bookings, and tips Because this is a commission-based contractor role, the best fit is someone who is proactive, confident in client-building, and excited to grow their own book of business. If you do not have an active clientele that you are confident will follow you, this is not the position for you. We have been at this location for 4 years and may be relocated a little further south (DTC, Centennial, Lone Tree, etc.) but that is TBD!
