ABOUT THE ACNE LAB

The Acne Lab is not a traditional spa environment. We are a structured acne management company focused on helping clients achieve clear, healthy skin through education, consistency, and long-term strategy — not quick fixes. Many of our clients come to us after years of frustration with prescriptions, products, diets, and inconsistent routines. Our role is to guide them through a calm, organized, step-by-step process that combines science-based skincare with structured systems and ongoing support. We are growing our provider team and are looking for a part-time Licensed Esthetician who wants consistent hours, professional training, meaningful client work, and the opportunity to grow with us. Extensive acne experience is not required. We are willing to train the right licensed esthetician who is professional, reliable, coachable, and excited to become highly skilled within our specialty.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

This is a consistent part-time position , not an on-call or fill-in role.

Regular Schedule:

2 consistent full days per week: Mon/Tues or Wed/Thurs 9:00am-6:15pm 1 one Friday per month during October - May 9:00am-4:15pm , as part of our rotating Friday schedule. Our goal is to provide a predictable schedule that allows you to build a career in esthetics while still maintaining meaningful work-life balance.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Phase 1 — Paid Training & Onboarding Structured onboarding and hands-on training Paid at $20/hour Direct training in The Acne Lab's acne methodology, products, protocols, client education, systems, and services Gradual progression into independently seeing clients as proficiency is demonstrated Phase 2 — Supported Clinical Ramp $20,000 annual base compensation As you begin independently seeing clients, you will continue to receive hands-on support, mentorship, and advanced training while building your schedule and confidence within our practice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Client Services & Clinical Care Perform structured, protocol-based facial services according to appointment type and client plan Execute services with consistency, attention to detail, and professionalism Follow Colorado sanitation and safety standards Maintain accurate client documentation and service notes Progress into additional services as training and proficiency are completed Client Education & Support Guide clients through The Acne Lab's structured homecare routines and acne management systems Educate clients using The Acne Lab's methodology for product usage, routine sequencing, and consistency Reinforce realistic expectations and long-term success Support clients with calm, clear, professional communication Practice Standards & Operations Maintain treatment room cleanliness and organization Prepare treatment rooms according to protocols Support inventory and product organization as needed Participate in ongoing education, training, and team development Contribute to a positive, professional, client-centered environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Current Colorado Esthetician License (newly licensed estheticians are encouraged to apply) 5+ years professional experience in any industry with references Strong communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability and willingness to work within highly structured systems Team-oriented mindset Reliability and accountability Availability for two consistent full workdays per week and one Friday/month October-May
