This position will focus primarily on providing electrolysis and laser hair removal services, conducting client consultations, developing appropriate treatment plans, and providing an excellent client experience from consultation through follow-up care. We are looking for someone who is confident in their skills, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable building relationships with clients and helping grow their clientele within an established medical aesthetics practice. Responsibilities Perform professional electrolysis and laser hair removal treatments in accordance with established treatment protocols and Florida requirements Conduct thorough client consultations, including assessment of hair growth, skin type, treatment areas, medical history, and treatment goals Determine appropriate treatment settings and treatment plans based on the individual client Educate clients on the differences between electrolysis and laser hair removal and recommend appropriate treatment options Clearly explain treatment expectations, recommended treatment schedules, pre-treatment instructions, and post-treatment care Maintain accurate and detailed client charts, treatment records, consent forms, and progress notes Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when appropriate Follow all established laser safety, infection control, sanitation, and equipment-cleaning procedures Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and treatment-ready workspace Build strong client relationships and provide a welcoming, comfortable experience during treatments Assist with client retention by appropriately scheduling follow-up treatments and maintaining continuity of care Educate clients about relevant services, treatment packages, and skincare products when appropriate Communicate professionally with front desk staff, management, and other treatment providers Participate in training and continuing education as needed to maintain current knowledge of hair removal technology, safety, and treatment protocols Assist with other appropriate duties related to the position and day-to-day operation of the practice Qualifications Current Florida Electrologist license required Must meet applicable Florida requirements to perform laser and light-based hair removal services Training and hands-on experience with electrolysis and/or laser hair removal preferred Knowledge of laser safety, Fitzpatrick skin typing, hair growth cycles, contraindications, and treatment protocols Understanding of sanitation, infection control, and client safety standards Strong consultation and client communication skills Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable discussing treatment plans, packages, and appropriate recommendations with clients Ability to maintain accurate client documentation and follow established office protocols Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team A positive, client-focused attitude and commitment to providing high-quality aesthetic services Preferred Experience Experience with both electrolysis and laser hair removal is strongly preferred. Experience working within a medical spa, dermatology, aesthetics, or skincare environment is a plus. Candidates who are also a licensed esthetician or Florida Facial Specialist are highly encouraged to apply. Experience providing additional aesthetic or skincare services is a strong plus and may provide opportunities to perform additional treatments within the practice, depending on licensing, training, and experience.
