Dolly Monroe Beauty Academy - Orlando, FL Job Overview Dolly Monroe Beauty Academy is seeking a knowledgeable, passionate, and dependable Part-Time Electrology & Laser Educator to join our Orlando education team. In this role, you will provide classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and supervised clinical training to students enrolled in our 320-Hour Electrology & Laser Program . You will help students develop the technical skills, professional confidence, and knowledge necessary to successfully enter the electrology and laser hair removal industry. Our students receive both theory and extensive hands-on clinical training using professional Silhouet-Tone electrology equipment and Alma laser technology . We are looking for an experienced industry professional who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping students transform technical knowledge into safe, confident, real-world practice. Responsibilities Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction in electrology and laser/light-based hair removal Teach electrolysis principles and modalities, including thermolysis, blend, and galvanic Demonstrate proper probe handling, forceps skills, and insertion techniques Provide instruction and hands-on training using Silhouet-Tone electrology equipment Provide laser and light-based hair removal instruction using Alma laser technology Teach laser physics, laser safety, precautions, and proper treatment protocols Educate students on the biology of hair growth, skin assessment, anatomy, and relevant body systems Teach client consultation, assessment, treatment planning, and pre- and post-treatment care Instruct students on sanitation, sterilization, microbiology, blood-borne pathogens, and infection-control procedures Supervise students during hands-on clinic services and ensure all safety and treatment protocols are followed Demonstrate proper treatment techniques and provide individualized coaching when needed Evaluate student progress through practical demonstrations, assessments, and written work Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to help students strengthen their skills and professional confidence Assist students with review and preparation for licensing examinations Maintain an organized, professional, safe, and supportive classroom and clinical learning environment Maintain required student attendance, progress, and instructional documentation Qualifications & Experience Current Florida Electrologist license required Appropriate credentials to perform and teach laser/light-based hair removal in Florida Hands-on professional experience performing electrolysis Hands-on experience with laser hair removal and laser safety protocols Strong knowledge of thermolysis, blend, and galvanic electrolysis techniques Knowledge of skin anatomy, hair growth, client assessment, and treatment planning Strong communication, demonstration, and interpersonal skills Ability to provide clear instruction and constructive feedback to adult learners Professional, dependable, organized, and committed to student success Comfortable supervising students in a hands-on clinical environment Previous teaching or training experience is preferred but not required. Experienced electrologists and laser professionals with strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring others are encouraged to apply.
