Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Towing Driver to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles efficiently. Your expertise in vehicle handling, mechanical troubleshooting, and customer service will ensure a smooth experience for clients and colleagues alike. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles of various sizes. Ensure proper cargo securement protocols are followed during loading and unloading to prevent damage or accidents. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for transport or recovery. Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify issues that may affect towing or recovery operations. Follow all safety procedures for vehicle loading onto tow trucks, vehicle recovery towing, and cargo handling. Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries. Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, including incident reports and vehicle condition documentation. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, automotive diagnostics, and automotive repair. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and car towing procedures. Familiarity with flatbed tow trucks, tow truck operations, and vehicle recovery towing techniques. Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs confidently. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively when needed.
