Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Massage Therapy Instructor to inspire and educate aspiring massage therapists. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive classroom instruction, demonstrate advanced massage techniques, and foster a dynamic learning environment. Your expertise will empower students to develop their skills in various massage modalities, including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and aesthetic treatments. Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons on massage techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and body waxing. Develop and implement detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices. Demonstrate practical skills in areas including anatomy knowledge, facial treatments, eyelash extensions, and esthetic laser treatments. Assess student progress through hands-on demonstrations, written assessments, and practical exams. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and professional growth. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques like dermabrasion or nail care, and evolving standards in cosmetology and aesthetic treatments. Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to support students' development into confident practitioners. Requirements Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and related modalities. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy and aesthetic treatments. Prior teaching or classroom experience in adult education or cosmetology programs preferred. Certification or licensure in massage therapy or related fields; additional credentials in esthetic laser treatment or hair styling are a plus. Familiarity with a broad range of beauty services including facials, makeup application, hair extensions, hair coloring, threading, waxing, nail care, barbering, and eyelash extensions. Excellent lesson planning skills with the ability to adapt content for diverse learning styles. Effective communication skills to motivate students and foster an engaging learning environment.
