Job Description
Overview In this position, you will deliver personalized skincare treatments and a variety of massage therapies designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your passion for patient service and dedication to excellence will help create a welcoming environment that encourages clients to feel confident and cared for during every visit. Responsibilities Perform professional skincare services including facials, exfoliations, and skin analysis tailored to individual client needs Deliver a range of massage therapies such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Conduct thorough patient assessments by evaluating skin conditions and muscular issues to recommend appropriate treatments Maintain clear communication with clients about treatment plans, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions Ensure all treatments adhere to safety standards and comply with licensing regulations and medical terminology protocols Educate clients on skincare routines, massage benefits, and pain management techniques for ongoing wellness support Keep detailed records of client treatments, preferences, and progress while maintaining confidentiality Requirements Valid state licensure as an aesthetician or massage therapist with active certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Proven experience in massage therapy including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to skin health and musculoskeletal systems Experience with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients Familiarity with medical terminology related to skin care and therapeutic massage practices Previous med spa or occupational health experience is preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
