About Us We are a modern, patient-focused medical spa specializing in non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic and wellness procedures. Our team of licensed professionals offers customized treatments using advanced technology and evidence-based techniques to help clients look and feel their best. We pride ourselves on professionalism, safety, and creating a luxurious yet welcoming experience for every guest. We are looking to expand our service menu by bringing on a talented artist specializing in permanent cosmetics. About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Permanent Makeup Artist with expertise in Microblading, Powder Brows, Lip Blush, and Areola Restoration/Paramedical Tattooing . This is a part-time position offering a competitive hourly base rate of $20.00 r plus generous commissions, allowing you to earn significantly more based on your productivity. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, a strong artistic eye, and a passion for enhancing natural beauty. Responsibilities Perform permanent makeup procedures including Microblading, Ombré/Shaded Brows, Eyeliner, and Lip Blushing per client anatomy and protocol. Conduct thorough client consultations to assess face shapes, skin types, and desired outcomes; manage client expectations regarding healing and color retention. Adhere to strict OSHA and state board sanitation standards, including sterile setup, pigment handling, and proper disposal of single-use needles. Educate clients on pre-care and aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and results. Take high-quality "before and after" photos for portfolio development and client records. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting treatment room. Promote retail products (numbing creams, aftercare balms) and schedule touch-up appointments to meet sales and booking goals. Document treatments accurately in client charts and maintain HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with the med spa team to offer combination treatments (e.g., facials + brows). Qualifications Active Esthetician or Cosmetology license in Ohio. Valid Bloodborne Pathogens Certification (or willingness to obtain immediately). Proof of apprenticeship or certification from an accredited permanent makeup academy. Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience performing microblading and PMU procedures (portfolio required). Experience with paramedical tattooing (scar camouflage, areola restoration) is a major plus. Deep understanding of color theory, pigment undertones, and skin tone matching. Impeccable sanitation habits and knowledge of cross-contamination prevention. Excellent verbal communication and "bedside manner" for nervous clients. Flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays based on client demand.
