Job Description
Sonya Savage Skin Care & Wellness | Philadelphia, PA Sonya Savage Skin Care & Wellness is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Medical Esthetician to join our Philadelphia practice. We are a results-driven skin care and wellness practice specializing in advanced corrective treatments for pigmentation, acne, scarring, aging, texture and overall skin health. Our clientele is diverse, and we are looking for an esthetician who is confident treating a wide range of skin tones and concerns. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with established hands-on experience who can step into an advanced treatment environment with confidence. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of professional esthetics experience required Current Pennsylvania Esthetician License Must be located in or able to reliably commute within the Philadelphia area Previous experience working in the Philadelphia-area aesthetics, medical spa, dermatology or advanced skin care market strongly preferred Advanced experience with microneedling Experience performing chemical peels Hands-on experience with lasers and energy-based treatments Advanced/customized corrective facials HydraFacial experience Strong understanding of skin assessment, contraindications, treatment planning and post-treatment care Experience treating diverse skin tones, including skin of color Strong knowledge of pigmentation, acne, scarring and age-related skin concerns Excellent consultation, communication and client-retention skills Professional, polished, dependable and detail-oriented Comfortable recommending appropriate treatment plans and professional home-care products Phlebotomy certification or experience is a major plus The Ideal Candidate You take a clinical, results-oriented approach to skin care and understand that exceptional esthetics goes beyond performing a treatment. You are confident assessing skin, developing thoughtful treatment plans, educating clients and building long-term relationships. You should be comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards for professionalism, safety, sanitation and client experience. An established Philadelphia-area clientele or professional network is a plus, but not required. Position Part-time with the opportunity for additional hours and growth within the practice. Candidates should submit a current resume along with a brief introduction describing their experience with microneedling, chemical peels, lasers and advanced corrective skin treatments. Minimum 3 years of professional experience required.
Compensation:
$25-$30/hour + commission + tips Competitive compensation based on experience. Additional earning opportunities include service commission, retail commission, performance incentives, and 100% of client tips. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, advanced treatment skills, laser experience, and existing certifications.Pay:
