ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Managing Esthetician to lead our Philadelphia team in delivering exceptional clinical skincare services within our medical spa environment. This dual-focus role combines hands-on client care with team leadership, making it ideal for a licensed esthetician who is passionate about advanced skincare and ready to take the next step in their career. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Care & Consultations Perform a full range of esthetic services including laser hair removal, coolsculpting, microneedling, IPL photofacial, laser resurfacing, chemical peels, and more. Conduct thorough skin, body, and laser hair removal consultations to assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and recommend appropriate retail products Educate clients on skincare routines, treatment benefits, and post-care protocols Drive service and product sales through consultative selling and client follow-up Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records including intake forms, treatment notes, and progress photos Excellent written communication skills for both note taking and messaging with clients Team Management & Leadership Supervise, mentor, and support a small team in day-to-day operations Assist in onboarding, and training new estheticians staff on protocols, equipment, and customer service standards Collaborate with the management to develop and update treatment menus and service protocols Operations & Compliance Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with state licensing requirements and medical spa protocols Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment that meets all hygiene and infection control standards Monitor room readiness, supplies, and equipment; coordinate with appropriate staff for maintenance needs Miscellaneous Participate in social media requests as directed Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned Rarely, cover shifts at other locations if needed QUALIFICATIONS
Required Current, valid esthetician license in the state of PA Minimum 3 years of professional esthetics experience, preferably in a medical spa or clinical skincare setting Laser hair removal experience 1+ year experience in supervisory, team leadership, or mentorship experience Proficiency in advanced aesthetic skincare treatments and modalities (lasers, chemical peels, microneedling, etc). Strong communication, consultative, and relationship-building skills Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets Preferred Laser certification Coolsculpting experience IPL and laser resurfacing experience Familiarity with medical spa software programs Knowledge of medical grade skincare product brands & lines The Ideal Candidate Aside from experience, the ideal candidate will be self motivated with a drive to achieve client, sales, and personal goals.
