The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of skin health, professional skincare ingredients, and advanced facial treatments, with the ability to perform thorough skin consultations and create customized, in-depth treatment plans based on each client's individual needs and goals. We are looking for someone who understands that a facial is more than following a protocol. Our Facial Specialist should be able to analyze the skin, understand ingredient functionality, customize treatments, educate clients, and create a long-term approach to achieving healthy, beautiful skin. Responsibilities Perform customized facial treatments based on each client's skin type, concerns, and goals. Conduct thorough skin consultations and analysis. Create individualized treatment plans including professional treatments, recommended frequency, products, and at-home care. Demonstrate strong knowledge of skincare ingredients, their benefits, contraindications, and compatibility with different skin types. Educate clients on their skin, ingredients, treatments, and recommended home-care routines. Maintain detailed client treatment notes and adjust treatment plans as needed. Perform additional services such as waxing, eyelash extensions, spray tans, and threading as trained and qualified. Recommend professional skincare products and services based on client needs while maintaining an education-first approach. Provide exceptional guest service and build lasting client relationships. Maintain strict sanitation, cleanliness, and professionalism standards. Utilize Vagaro for scheduling, client records, notes, and transactions. Participate in ongoing education and training. Qualifications Valid Pennsylvania Esthetician or Cosmetology License required. Previous facial experience strongly preferred. Strong professional skincare and ingredient knowledge. Ability to perform detailed skin consultations and identify common skin concerns. Ability to create customized facial treatment plans. Strong understanding of contraindications and product compatibility. Excellent communication, client education, and customer service skills. Comfortable recommending professional skincare products and services. Spa experience and advanced facial training are a plus. Must be professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about continued education. The Ideal Candidate You should be able to confidently answer: "What does this skin need, why does it need it, and what is our plan to get it there?"
