This is not a traditional facial-room position. Our services are designed as a Skin Reset — an intentional approach to skincare combining botanical-forward treatments, facial massage, sculpting, Gua Sha, skin education, and thoughtful care. We want someone who enjoys making people feel comfortable, talking about skincare, recommending the right products and services, and confidently helping a guest make a purchase. Our treatment philosophy is personal, calm, educational, and results-minded. The esthetician is not only providing a service; she is helping the guest understand her skin, experience the products, and leave with a ritual she can continue at home. Our Guest Our downtown Charleston location serves a unique mix of customers. You may spend one appointment with a local Charleston client who returns every month and the next helping a guest visiting Charleston from another state or another country discover She Biology for the first time.

Every interaction is an opportunity to introduce someone to the She Biology ritual. You Should Enjoy Selling This is an important part of the position. Your service guide already frames retail this way: recommend the smallest, most useful home ritual based on what you observed and used during the treatment. Services You May Perform Services may include: Skin Reset treatments Facial sculpting and massage Gua Sha LED treatments Dermaplaning Extractions Botanical hydration treatments Brow Waxing Lash services Other approved esthetic services based on licensing and training Content Creation Is Part of the Role You should also be comfortable helping us document the She Biology service experience. This can include treatment videos, Gua Sha demonstrations, skincare education, product application, and before-and-after photography with client consent . You do not need to be a professional content creator, but you should be comfortable filming simple content and occasionally appearing in it. Compensation $18/hour guaranteed base pay + 10% commission on completed services + 5% commission on personally generated retail sales The $18/hour is your guaranteed base while you are working your scheduled store shift. Your service and retail commissions create the opportunity to bring your effective hourly earnings to approximately $25/hour or higher as you build your clientele. For a 10:45 AM-5:00 PM shift: 6.25 hours × $18 = $112.50 base pay One $350 Skin Reset service = $35 service commission One $175 skincare purchase = $8.75 retail commission Total earnings: $156.25 Equivalent to $25/hour for the shift. Two $245 services would generate $49 in commission, bringing the same shift to approximately $161.50, or $25.84/hour, before retail sales, brow services, or additional add-ons.
