HeadSpa'ce Chattanooga is a first-of-its-kind clinical scalp wellness studio at 3800 St. Elmo Ave in Chattanooga. Founded by Brittni Krumrie, a medical aesthetician with 21+ years of experience, HeadSpa'ce bridges clinical scalp science and deeply restorative care. Every service is built on histology and trichology — the science of skin, tissue, and hair health — delivered in a setting that is intentional, calm, and apothecary-inspired. This is not a standard spa. Our clients come to us with real scalp conditions and real concerns — product buildup, hair thinning, hormonal hair loss, and scalp conditions that no one else has taken seriously. Our team gives them a clinical assessment, a treatment plan, and a path forward. That is what makes us different — and it is what makes working here different, too.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a licensed esthetician who is first and foremost a talented, trained lash and brow tech , and who also brings skill or interest in scalp wellness. This is a part-time position built around our lash and brow menu, with head spa services as a core secondary focus. The right person for this role has strong technical lash skill, a steady hand, and an eye for brow design — and is also genuinely curious about the "why" behind scalp science, wants to communicate with clients at a clinical level, and wants to contribute to a team culture built on education, precision, and care. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Before the Appointment Ensure client intake forms are completed prior to arrival Review intake forms before each service, noting skin concerns, sensitivities, contraindications, and current medications Screen for contraindications before lash, brow, or wax services Perform a scalp analysis for head spa clients — assess condition, dryness, buildup, and sensitivity, and walk the client through your findings During & After the Service Deliver lash services, brow services, and waxing with precision and consistency Deliver wet and dry head spa treatments and facials per HeadSpa'ce protocols Enter SOAP notes and product or formula details into the client record after every service — no exceptions Recommend retail products that are directly tied to the client's treatment and condition Offer rebooking before the client leaves — as part of the natural close of every service Shared Team Responsibilities Complete room reset between every client Handle laundry — wash, fold, and return to rooms Actively participate in retail selling — suggest and explain products with confidence Complete end-of-shift closing tasks Restock backbar and supplies as needed Follow sanitation routines appropriate to each service type Assist with rebooking at checkout Flag any protocol concerns or issues to the HeadSpa'ce lead immediately

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Active Tennessee esthetics license — required Talented and trained in lash services — required. This role is built around lash and brow work first; strong, demonstrable lash skill (extensions, lifts, tints, or your specialty) is non-negotiable Strong brow skills — required Genuine interest in scalp health and clinical aesthetics — we will train the right person on head spa protocols, but curiosity is non-negotiable Ability to explain what you are doing and why in a way that educates and reassures the client Attention to detail — thorough intake review, precise technique, accurate SOAP documentation Professional and calm presence — our clients come in anxious about hair loss and scalp conditions; you are part of what makes them feel safe Team-oriented — you handle laundry, reset rooms, and support the front desk without being asked Facial or waxing experience a plus; additional training available for qualified candidates
