Nestea Recruiting is recruiting a Licensed Esthetician on behalf of Timeless Spa Center, a medical spa and aesthetic services employer in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Timeless Spa Center is the direct employer for this W-2 employee position. Nestea Recruiting is assisting with candidate communication, screening coordination, interview scheduling, and hiring steps on behalf of Timeless Spa Center. This is an in-person treatment role focused on facials, skin rejuvenation, skincare education, and approved non-invasive esthetic services. Services are performed within the Esthetician's license scope, completed training, employer protocols, and applicable Tennessee requirements.
Compensation Regular pay after training:
$18.00-$24.00 per hour Starting pay within this range is based on relevant experience, qualifications, location, and Timeless Spa Center's compensation structure. Any applicable commissions, bonuses, tips, or incentives will be reviewed during the hiring process. Training and Training Pay The position begins with required online training. Training is scheduled for approximately 6-8 hours. Training is paid at $15.00 per hour for scheduled training hours. Training schedule, attendance, and completion expectations will be reviewed before training begins. After completing the required training, employees transition to their regular Esthetician pay rate of $18.00-$24.00 per hour. Work Schedule The schedule includes 3 scheduled workdays per week and 1 designated standby day. Scheduled shifts may be up to 10 hours. On the designated standby day, employees should remain available to report to the assigned spa location if needed. Employees will be notified in advance if they are needed to report to work on the designated standby day. If they are not needed, they will not be required to report that day. Regular work is performed on site at the assigned spa location. Specific workdays and shift times are based on appointment schedules, staffing needs, and business requirements. Services You'll Provide Services may include customized facials, hydrating facials, glow and brightening facials, cryo facials, dermaplaning, extractions, LED light therapy, masks and superficial skincare treatments, skin renewal and skincare-maintenance services, and client skincare education and take-home product guidance. All services are performed only as permitted by the Esthetician's active license, completed training, employer protocols, and applicable Tennessee scope-of-practice requirements. Medical procedures, injections, and skin-penetrating procedures are not part of this role and are handled by appropriately licensed medical staff. Responsibilities Perform approved facial and skin-rejuvenation services based on client needs and treatment plans. Provide facial-focused treatments within the permitted scope of practice. Review skincare goals with clients and explain services clearly and professionally. Provide appropriate skincare and aftercare education. Recommend skincare routines and products based on client needs and employer guidelines. Follow sanitation, safety, treatment preparation, consent, documentation, and aftercare procedures. Prepare and maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment rooms. Document treatment notes and relevant client information accurately. Take before-and-after photos when required by employer protocol and applicable consent requirements. Complete appropriate contraindication screening and escalate concerns to the appropriate provider or supervisor. Follow employer standards for professional communication, client care, and treatment protocols. Required Qualifications Active Esthetician License in Tennessee, current and in good standing. Esthetician license must include at least 750 training hours, in accordance with Tennessee licensing requirements and employer qualification standards. Must meet Tennessee licensing, training, and scope-of-practice requirements for the services assigned. Ability to provide proof of current licensure and completed training before hire. Hands-on experience performing facials and skincare services. Knowledge of skin types, common skin concerns, contraindications, skincare products, and post-treatment care. Strong client communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow sanitation, safety, documentation, and treatment protocols. Reliable attendance, professionalism, and attention to detail. Ability to work on site in Chattanooga, Tennessee and meet the position's schedule requirements. Preferred Experience Experience in a medical spa, aesthetic spa, dermatology office, skincare clinic, or luxury spa setting. Experience with cryo facials, LED therapy, superficial skincare treatments, dermaplaning, or professional skincare lines. Experience providing client skincare education and product recommendations. Work Environment On-site aesthetic spa environment working directly with clients. Requires adherence to employer standards for cleanliness, client privacy, documentation, safety, and treatment preparation. The position may require standing for portions of the shift, preparing treatment rooms, cleaning and resetting treatment spaces, and using approved skincare products and devices.
