Medical as a Part-Time / On-Call Medical Esthetician and bring your passion for skincare and aesthetic excellence to life. This role offers flexible scheduling — ideal for a skilled esthetician looking for part-time or on-call work — while delivering exceptional medical-grade and spa skincare services to clients seeking real, lasting results. As a key member of our wellness team, you'll create personalized treatment plans, elevate client satisfaction, and make a meaningful difference in skin health and confidence. We're looking for someone energetic, professional, and genuinely passionate about their craft. This position starts as part-time / on-call with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. Duties & Responsibilities Perform a wide range of esthetic treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and laser treatments with precision, skill, and attention to client comfort Perform microneedling treatments (e.g., SkinPen or similar device) following established protocols, contraindication screening, and post-care guidance Provide spa services including body waxing, makeup application, and other skincare enhancements tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin conditions, understand concerns, review medical history, and develop personalized treatment plans Educate clients on at-home skincare routines, recommend medical-grade products, and support retail sales goals that align with their treatment journey Communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with clients throughout every stage of their visit — from intake to post-treatment follow-up Uphold the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene in all treatment areas, including proper sterilization of tools and equipment, single-use disposable protocol adherence, surface disinfection between every client, and full compliance with Texas state health and safety regulations Maintain a consistently professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the elevated standards of a medical spa environment — punctuality, discretion, and respectful client interactions are non-negotiable Assist with retail sales by recommending and explaining products that complement treatments and support skin health outcomes Document treatment notes, client preferences, and progress accurately for continuity of care Stay current with evolving aesthetic treatments, ingredient science, and safety protocols through continued education and training Qualifications Valid Texas cosmetology or esthetician license as required by state regulations Proven hands-on experience in medical-grade skincare services: facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and laser treatments Experience performing microneedling treatments is strongly preferred; training/certification with a recognized device (e.g., SkinPen, Dermapen) is a plus Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients, product lines, and esthetic techniques including waxing and makeup application Deep understanding of skin anatomy, conditions, and contraindications to ensure safe, effective treatment delivery Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to build client trust and deliver a premium, personalized experience Demonstrated commitment to sanitation, safety protocols, and professionalism in every aspect of the role Ability to work flexible hours on an on-call basis, including occasional evenings or weekends (typically 1-2 days per week) Experience in retail sales or client-facing roles is a plus Preferred / Bonus Experience Experience in a medical spa, clinical, or healthcare setting Head spa services (scalp treatments, scalp massage, moisture therapies) Knowledge of pre- and post-procedure skincare to complement in-office aesthetic treatments Why
