Job Description

Overview The Unit Med Spa is a boutique medical aesthetics practice in Houston focused on personalized treatment plans, natural-looking results, and an elevated patient experience. We are seeking an experienced Aesthetic Injector to join our clinical team on a part-time/PRN basis as we launch and grow. This position includes both patient care and clinical mentorship. In addition to treating patients, you will help mentor and develop a licensed RN who has completed foundational aesthetic injection training and is building additional hands-on experience. Our initial treatment menu includes Botox, Dysport, and VI Peel. Responsibilities Perform Botox, Dysport, and VI Peel treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols Conduct patient consultations and develop individualized aesthetic treatment plans Assess facial anatomy and determine appropriate treatment areas, dosing, and product selection Educate patients on treatment expectations, risks, aftercare, and follow-up Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and before-and-after photography Follow all applicable clinical protocols, delegation requirements, sanitation standards, and medical oversight policies Participate in patient follow-ups and treatment assessments Provide a professional, comfortable, and highly personalized patient experience Serve as a clinical mentor to a developing RN injector Provide structured hands-on education and coaching in patient assessment, facial anatomy, treatment planning, product selection, dosing, injection technique, documentation, and post-treatment evaluation Facilitate observation and supervised skill development in accordance with the practice's medical oversight, delegation, and clinical protocols Provide constructive feedback and help the developing injector build clinical proficiency, judgment, and confidence Help establish consistent clinical standards and best practices as The Unit grows Qualifications Current Texas RN, NP, PA, or other appropriate professional license Current Basic Life Support certification Professional liability coverage or ability to obtain required coverage At least 2 years of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience preferred Strong hands-on experience administering Botox and Dysport Experience performing VI Peel treatments Strong understanding of facial anatomy, patient assessment, dosing, injection technique, contraindications, complication recognition, and treatment follow-up Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Excellent communication and bedside manner Ability to clearly explain clinical reasoning and techniques to another licensed clinician Patience and genuine interest in mentorship and clinical development Reliable availability for scheduled patient blocks Dermal filler experience is welcome but is not required for our initial service offering. Compensation & Schedule $40-80/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time / PRN position to start, with the opportunity for additional hours as patient volume grows. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent availability for scheduled treatment blocks and who is excited about helping establish the clinical foundation of a growing aesthetics practice. About The Unit The Unit Med Spa is a Houston-based medical aesthetics practice launching with Botox, Dysport, and VI Peel, with plans to expand our services and clinical team as we grow. Our approach centers on thoughtful treatment planning, excellent clinical execution, patient education, and long-term patient relationships. Employment is contingent upon verification of professional licensure, required clinical credentials, aesthetic training, and completion of The Unit Med Spa's clinical credentialing process.

$40.00 - $80.00 per hour
