Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Massage Therapy Instructor to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will inspire and guide students through comprehensive massage therapy training, ensuring they develop the skills necessary to excel in the wellness industry. Your expertise will help shape future professionals by delivering engaging lessons, supervising practical sessions, and mentoring students in a supportive learning environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to share your industry experience while fostering the growth of aspiring massage therapists. Duties Deliver engaging classroom instruction on massage techniques, anatomy, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and other aesthetic treatments such as facials and body waxing Supervise and mentor students during practical sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed Provide constructive feedback to support student progress and confidence in their skills Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessments Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and advancements in skincare, esthetic laser treatments, nail care, eyelash extensions, hair styling, coloring, extensions, threading, and other cosmetology services Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and professional growth Skills Extensive knowledge of massage therapy techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to aesthetic treatments and bodywork Experience working in the beauty or wellness industry with hands-on salon experience preferred Proven ability to teach adult learners effectively through classroom experience or formal teaching roles Excellent student supervision skills with a talent for mentoring aspiring professionals Familiarity with cosmetology disciplines such as skincare, hair styling, coloring, extensions, facials, makeup application, nail care, and esthetic laser treatments Ability to develop comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts and industry standards Passion for inspiring students and supporting their career development in the beauty industry Join us in empowering future wellness professionals!
