Job Description
Our salon seeks a Wax Specialist to provide waxing and related services to clients. In this role, your responsibilities are to communicate with clients to discuss their needs and preferences, as well as learn about any sensitive skin or allergy issues. You must know when to use the right equipment, from basic waxing strips to hard wax. Our ideal client has an esthetician or cosmetology license gained from attending a trade school, as well as experience providing waxing services to clients in a professional setting. Knowledge of other skincare and beauty treatments is a plus. Wax Specialist Duties and Responsibilities Discuss client needs and preferences Wax various body parts, including areas of the face, back, legs, arms, and bikini line, Brazilian wax Use the right equipment and ensure it is sanitary for each use Provide other skincare services and beauty treatments as needed Wax Specialist Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate State esthetician or cosmetologist license Experience with and knowledge of various waxing techniques and equipment Attention to detail Communication and interpersonal skills
