Paw Ritual Lead Companion

Lead Paw Ritual Companion™ Paw Ritual™ is seeking a compassionate, patient, and confident dog professional to lead our consent-based nail wellness program. This is not a traditional grooming position. We specialize exclusively in nail care and paw wellness for dogs who may need additional time, understanding, and support.

Responsibilities:

Perform nail trims and paw wellness services using the Paw Ritual™ methodology Work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments Support fearful, nervous, sensitive, and muzzle-conditioned dogs Recognize canine body language and adjust handling accordingly Utilize a variety of nail and paw care tools safely and effectively, including nail clippers, grinders, scratch boards, files, paw soaks, and other wellness equipment Educate guardians on nail and paw wellness Recommend and sell wellness products used within our space Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience Strong understanding of canine body language Experience working with dogs requiring patience, handling accommodations, and behavior awareness Comfortable working with large breeds and muzzle-trained dogs Experience using multiple nail trimming and paw care tools and equipment Excellent customer service and communication skills Retail or sales experience preferred Reliable transportation Willingness to learn and implement the Paw Ritual™ process

Certification Requirement:

Selected candidates must successfully complete and maintain certification as a Certified Paw Ritual Companion™ through our internal training and mentorship program. Once Certified your pay rate will increase.

Pay:

$16.50 - $17.50 per hour
