Full-Time, Part-Time & On-Call Positions Preferred Services is a respected funeral service transport company dedicated to serving families and funeral homes with dignity, respect, and professionalism. We are seeking caring, dependable individuals to join our team and assist with the sensitive and important work of transporting decedents.Responsibilities include:
Safe and respectful removal and transport of decedents from homes, hospitals, and care facilities Maintaining professionalism, compassion, and discretion at all times, Completing required documentation accurately Communicating clearly with dispatch, funeral home partners, and team members Upholding Preferred Services' high standards of dignity and care We seek individuals with strong character and compassion.Ideal candidates are:
Respectful, empathetic, and able to serve families with sensitivity Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in emotionally heavy situations Able to lift, move, and transport decedents safely (team lifting required) Professional in appearance, communication, and conduct Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass background screening and drug testing Comfortable driving company vehicles, including vans and SUVs Prior experience in funeral services, medical transport, EMS, or caregiving is helpful but not required—we provide training for the right individuals Must be able to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts if applicable If you have a caring heart and a professional demeanor, and you want to serve families with dignity during their most difficult moments, we invite you to apply today.Job Types:
