Duties Support funeral directors in planning and coordinating funeral services, including logistical arrangements and event planning Assist with client communication, offering empathetic support and guidance to grieving families Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when preparing caskets, equipment, or floral arrangements Drive funeral vehicles as needed, ensuring safe transportation of remains and family members Manage records and documentation related to funeral services, including records management and administrative tasks Provide bereavement support by listening compassionately and offering resources to families during their time of loss Participate in on-call coverage to respond promptly to emergency requests or last-minute arrangements Requirements Genuine interest in funeral & mortuary services with a desire to learn and grow within the industry Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent customer service and client communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism Ability to perform heavy lifting safely following proper lifting practices Valid driving license with a clean driving record for vehicle transportation duties Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided Willingness to participate in on-call shifts and work flexible hours as needed Knowledge of or interest in event coordination, sales, or event planning is a plus This role offers a rewarding career path where dedication meets compassion. Pay:
