Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Funeral Home Operations Specialist, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, professional, and seamless funeral and mortuary services. This dynamic position combines operational management, client support, event coordination, and hands-on assistance to ensure families receive respectful care during their most difficult moments. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create meaningful experiences for grieving families while maintaining efficient funeral home operations. Duties Coordinate and oversee funeral arrangements, ensuring all services run smoothly from start to finish Provide empathetic bereavement support and guidance to grieving families throughout the process Manage heavy lifting and manual handling of caskets, floral arrangements, and equipment following safe lifting practices Maintain accurate records of client information, service details, and records management protocols Assist with event planning and execution for funerals, memorials, and related ceremonies Drive funeral vehicles as needed for transportation of remains or family members, adhering to all safety regulations Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, client communication, and documentation to streamline daily operations Offer on-call coverage to respond promptly to urgent needs or last-minute service requests Requirements Proven experience in funeral & mortuary services or related event coordination roles Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in records management and client communication Ability to provide exceptional customer service with compassion and professionalism Experience in working with families during sensitive times; excellent interpersonal skills are essential Valid driver's license with clean driving record for vehicle transportation duties Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; knowledge of safe lifting practices is required Flexibility to provide on-call coverage outside regular hours as needed Administrative experience with scheduling, documentation, and record keeping is highly desirable Join us in making a difference by supporting families through compassionate service and efficient operations. Pay:
From $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
