As a Family Service Advisor, you will be the friendly face and trusted resource that helps families navigate funeral arrangements with confidence and compassion. Responsibilities Provide empathetic bereavement support to grieving families, offering comfort and guidance throughout the funeral planning process Assist families in selecting funeral services, merchandise, and memorial options that meet their needs and preferences Coordinate and plan memorial events, ensuring all details are handled smoothly and respectfully Manage sales activities by explaining service packages, answering questions, and helping families make informed decisions Collaborate with funeral home staff to organize logistics for services, viewings, and transportation arrangements Maintain detailed records of family interactions, service plans, and sales transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance Requirements Prior experience or training in bereavement support or funeral directing is highly desirable Strong event planning skills with the ability to coordinate multiple details simultaneously Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to customer service Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for funeral services Sales experience is a plus, with the ability to explain services clearly and build trust with families A genuine desire to help others during difficult times and provide exceptional support throughout the process This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in a caring environment and want to make a positive impact on families during their most vulnerable moments.
