Assist in the day-to-day operations of funeral services by supporting the needs of families, guests, and staff during visitations, services, and ceremonies.
Responsibilities include:
Greet and direct visitors, assisting with seating arrangements, and maintaining a respectful and welcoming environment. Prepare facilities for services, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of rooms, flowers, and memorial items. Provide support with procession coordination and vehicle movement, as well as handling caskets or urns as needed. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and compassion, respecting privacy and confidentiality at all times. Perform general tasks such as light cleaning, restocking supplies, and responding to requests from families or funeral staff. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in emotionally sensitive situations are essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Requirements:
Related work experience preferred. Hs/ged required. Age 18 and up.
