You will manage all logistics, legal paperwork, and ceremonial details for memorial and burial services while supporting grieving families.

Core Responsibilities Family Consultation:

Meet with families to discuss final wishes, select caskets or urns, plan viewings, and coordinate religious or personal services.

Logistics Coordination:

Schedule venues, clergy, musicians, pallbearers, and transportation for the deceased and mourners. This includes scheduling and setting up flowers, chapels, programs, music selections, caskets and waiting on family members, all to make services meaningful while providing a positive customer service experience.

Legal Administration:

File death certificates, burial permits, and required state or federal documentation. Care of the

Deceased:

Oversee body transfers, preparation, dressing, and casketing (and sometimes embalming, depending on licensure).

Facility & Staff Management:

Supervise funeral attendants, maintain facility appearance, and handle day-to-day business operations.

Crisis Management:

ability to manage stressful situations well and work under pressure.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in mortuary science, business administration, hospitality.

Licensure:

Position does not require a Funeral Director license but is highly preferred.

Skills:

High levels of empathy, strong communication, organization, and a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong accuracy and attention to detail skills. Schedule:

5 days a week/40 hour.

Salary:
