In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for families during one of life's most sensitive moments, guiding them through the funeral planning process with professionalism and empathy. Your energetic approach will help ensure every funeral service is personalized, respectful, and meaningful. Responsibilities Meet with families to understand their wishes and assist in planning personalized funeral services that honor their loved ones Coordinate all logistical aspects of funeral arrangements, including scheduling, transportation, and venue setup Provide bereavement support to families, offering comfort and guidance throughout the planning process Manage the setup and breakdown of funeral services, ensuring all details are executed smoothly and efficiently Handle sales-related tasks by explaining service options, upselling appropriate products, and ensuring client satisfaction Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving caskets or equipment, maintaining safety protocols at all times Collaborate with funeral directors, clergy, and vendors to deliver seamless service experiences Skills Strong ability to provide empathetic bereavement support with excellent communication skills Experience in funeral directing or event planning is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling of funeral equipment and caskets Proven sales skills with a customer-focused approach to meet client needs and promote services effectively Exceptional organizational skills to coordinate logistics and ensure timely execution of services Compassionate demeanor combined with professionalism to support grieving families during difficult times

From $20.00 per hour
