Job Description

Pay:
$65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Job description: Embalmer Mortuary Supervisor Looking for licensed professionals. If you are an embalmer we need your experience. Making arrangements, embalming, possible EDRS. We have multiple locations through out California. We are the largest and leading providers in our areas. We are based out of Vallejo, CA. We are a team. If some one needs help at another location for a day or so you might be asked to assist at that facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Sanitation and Preservation:
Draining fluids and replacing them with chemical solutions using specialized equipment to slow decomposition.
Restorative Art:
Applying cosmetics, styling hair, and reconstructing features to create a natural appearance for open-casket viewings.
Dressing and Casketing:
Placing the deceased in selected clothing and positioning them respectfully inside the casket.
Facility Maintenance:
Cleaning and disinfecting the preparation room, tracking chemical inventory, and following OSHA safety standards.
Transport and Records:
Safely moving human remains and maintaining strict legal documentation and chain of custody Other tasks may be required that aren't listed above.

Precaution(s): Personal protective equipment provided or required Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Typical START time: 8AM Typical END time: 5PM Overtime may be needed in some cases, every other weekend required
