- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including planning, organizing, and directing funeral ceremonies
- Meet with clients to discuss funeral arrangements, including choice of service, casket, and burial or cremation options
- Arrange transportation of the deceased to the funeral home and final resting place
- Assist families in completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required permits
- Coordinate with clergy, cemetery personnel, and other service providers to ensure smooth execution of funeral services
Skills:
- Strong organizational and event planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with grieving families
- Attention to detail in handling legal paperwork and documentation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (e.g., caskets)
