Funeral Director / Embalmer
SALARY NEGOTIABLE
Are you a Licensed Funeral Director Embalmer who takes pride in your work and wants to be involved in the full scope of funeral service? If you are confident handling both the technical and family‑facing aspects of funeral service this position is worth exploring! What does it take to be qualified? Active Funeral Director & Embalmer license (or ability to reciprocate) 2+ years of funeral directing experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record Professional appearance and conduct Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation A team‑focused mindset with a genuine commitment to caring for families What can you expect in your role? Manage funeral arrangements, services, embalmings, casketing/cosmetizing, and removals as needed Meet with families to coordinate funeral, cremation, and cemetery services with professionalism and care Assist families with product and service selections and finalize arrangements Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services Complete all administrative and regulatory documentation accurately and on time Maintain licensure and certifications in compliance with state and industry requirements Assist with crematory operations, including preparation and transfer of cremated remains Support day‑to‑day operations as needed This opportunity is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their Funeral Director career in Eastern North Carolina.
