This position is responsible for providing professional embalming, preparation, and related care while maintaining high standards of dignity, safety, and respect. Responsibilities Perform embalming preparation according to laws, regulations and professional standards Complete restorative art, cosmetics, dressing, casketing, and other preparations as needed Maintain accurate embalming reports, identification records, and required documentation Follow OSHA requirements and established infection control safety procedures Clean, disinfect, and maintain the prep room, instruments, equipment, and work areas Perform transfers, removals, and transportation of decedents Qualifications Current Embalmers license in good standing, or the ability to reciprocate Thorough knowledge of embalming practices, restorative techniques, and universal precautions Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases Valid drivers license Ability to safely lift and move decedents Willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary We offer a professional working environment and the opportunity to join a team committed to providing reliable, dignified care to the families and funeral homes we serve.
Pay:
