Position Purpose Manage all aspects of the funeral home. Oversee daily operations, staff, facilities, customer service, financial performance, and community involvement. Primary Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations and resources. Foster a culture of professional excellence and exceptional family service. Improve internal processes for productivity and employee relations. Align staff with operational, service, sales, and financial goals. Ensure the funeral home, lawn, and grounds are well maintained. Perform other assigned duties. Leadership Competencies Communication Teamwork Attention to detail Thoroughness Customer service Time management Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred. Four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of five years of funeral home experience preferred. Current Funeral Director license highly preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with families, staff, and community leaders. Empathy and patience when working with grieving families.
