Job Description

Our Funeral Home where caring comes naturally. We have been serving families in the community for decades. We are seeking an experienced Funeral Director/Embalmer with the following qualifications and skills: Active and In Good Standing Funeral Directing and Embalming License with the state Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner Care for the deceased respectfully while performing a variety of tasks, which include removals and transfers; embalming; dressing; cosmetizing; and casketing. Strong Embalming skills required. Arrange for and oversee interment or cremation of human remains Prepare necessary legal paperwork, including contracts, authorizations, death certificates and transit permits Assist families wishing to pre-arrange or pre-fund funeral arrangements Good understanding of computers and standard software including, MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Death Registry System Ability to serve and maintain several families in a given time period Excellent communication skills Detail oriented High level of empathy and compassion Ability to work weekends and evenings according to schedule Clean driving record
