Duties Greet customers warmly, assist with garment drop-off and pick-up, and answer their questions confidently. Process customer transactions accurately, including cash handling and payment processing. Record customer orders meticulously, ensuring all details are clear for efficient garment processing. Operate garment care machines such as pressing machines and dry cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Manage garment intake by inspecting items for stains or damages, tagging garments appropriately, and organizing them for processing. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning workstations, tools, and equipment using appropriate cleaning detergents. Assist with heavy lifting of garments or laundry items when necessary, following manual handling safety protocols. Skills Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly valued for delivering exceptional customer service. Knowledge of garment finishing, pressing techniques, and fabric care to ensure high-quality results. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes, laundry services, and garment care machine operation. Ability to operate pressing machines and other garment care equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping and quality control of garments. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards.
