Hotel Laundry Attendant

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your keen eye for cleanliness and efficiency will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of comfort and freshness. In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of all hotel linens and towels, contributing directly to the overall guest satisfaction. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help uphold our reputation for excellence in hospitality service. Duties Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, efficiently and safely. Sort laundry items and adhere to cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning results. Perform reclaim cleaning processes on items as needed, following specific care instructions. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sinks, machines, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety standards. Pass on maintenance tasks onto the correct department as needed. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver fresh linens promptly and meet daily operational demands. Follow all safety procedures related to handling chemicals and operating laundry machinery to prevent accidents. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads. Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation is a plus.
