Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other materials, contributing directly to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. Duties Operate industrial dryers, washers, and other laundry equipment efficiently to process linens and guest materials. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, folding, and storage according to safety standards. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when moving large loads of laundry or supplies. Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by following strict sanitation and safety protocols. Assist with dry cleaning processes when required, ensuring high-quality results. Follow safety standards in production to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Support the overall cleanliness and organization of laundry supplies and equipment. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred, especially within hotel or hospitality settings. Knowledge of laundry procedures, including use of industrial dryers and dry cleaning techniques. Ability to handle materials safely with manual handling skills and awareness of safety standards in production environments. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout shifts. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
