Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment with precision and care. Handle textiles and linens carefully, ensuring proper cleaning, sanitation, and garment care procedures are followed. Sort, load, and unload laundry loads using push carts or other materials handling tools while adhering to safety protocols. Use appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while maintaining safety standards in production areas. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when managing large loads of linens or garments, following manual handling guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by regularly cleaning equipment, floors, and surrounding spaces to ensure sanitation standards are met. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles or linens. Requirements Prior experience in laundry services or hotel environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers efficiently. Knowledge of textile cleaning processes including dry cleaning is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments with a focus on sanitation and proper handling of laundry chemicals. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting, push carts, and handle manual tasks safely. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, or managing inventory.
