Daily Operations:
Sorts, washes, and dries all linens used by all Guests and staff with proper ergonomic techniques. Operates flat work iron for table linens and sheets. Operates towel folder for spa and house towels. Inspects all linen for wear and tear. Maintains cleanliness of washers, dryers and work area department. Ensures proper dispensing of cleaning materials and chemicals in the equipment.
Administrative & Safety:
Maintains appropriate records of pounds washed and dried, and dry cleaning completed on a daily basis. Follows all safety protocols. Immediately reports any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management Uses all safety equipment in proper manner. Participates in all safety programs, including daily stretching. Full-Time - 40 hours per week.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour. Education Required - High School diploma or equivalent.
Effort:
Work requires regular lifting of objects up to 40 lbs.
Mental Exertion:
Position does not require mental concentration.
Shift:
Typically works varied shifts or schedules.
Environment:
Work takes place in a cold/hot environment that is not temperature controlled.
Noise/Hazards:
Exposure to machinery or potentially hazardous equipment.
