Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, drying/pressing, folding and stocking all linens and terry, such as sheets, blankets, robes, bedspreads, towels and napkins.

Compensation & Benefits:

In addition to an hourly wage, Laundry Attendants receive additional service charges as part of their compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive and sort incoming laundry items from resort departments Load and unload washers and dryers Fold dry linens and terry Run napkins through the press Restock the shelves with clean linens Sweep and mop to maintain working area clean Promptly report to supervisor any malfunctions of the equipment Sort out and report any damaged/stained linens or terry Attend scheduled meetings and training as required by management Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing a clean and pressed proper uniform and name tag when working Maintain a friendly, helpful and courteous demeanor to guests, managers/supervisors and fellow employees EEOC Statement Hacienda Del Sol Resort is committed to equal opportunity in employment and to creating a welcoming and diverse environment for all employees.
