Laundry Attendant

DESCRIPTION

We are now accepting applications for a part time Laundry Attendant at Fresh & Clean Laundry in Chula Vista and San Diego. We are a family-owned business with many long time and loyal customers. We are also a growing business as a result of our expanding wash and fold and laundry delivery services. This is a great opportunity with income growth potential. We are looking for a responsible, dedicated, high energy team player. The successful candidate will have flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outstanding customer service: welcome all customers entering laundromat, help customers load money to their laundry cards, assist them with their laundering needs, provide a friendly, safe, and clean environment Ensure cleanliness of store and equipment at all times: sweep, dust, mop, cleaning washers and dryers inside and out Ability to learn register and software for over the counter monetary transactions for our Wash and Fold orders Ensure store opening and closing procedures are properly followed. Perform washing, drying, folding and packaging for Wash and Fold orders efficiently and according to procedures Coordinate the receipt, collection, storage, and inventory of all clothing items delivered for Wash and Fold service Ensure quality assurance standards are met Promote team spirit and commitment Perform any other related work as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be fluent in English and Spanish 18 years or older Excellent customer service and problem solving skills Friendly, courteous, assertive, organized with a high attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers Can stand up to 8 hours Comfortable lifting bags of laundry weighing up to 20 lbs Basic computer skills Well kept appearance Legally authorized to work in the United States Be able to pass a background test

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Previous laundromat experience Experience with laundering techniques and procedures Wash, dry, and fold (Fluff & Fold) service experience Cash handling experience including cash register operations Previous experience with a Point-of-Sale software system

TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Opener- 7am to 3pm Closer- 3pm to 11pm

PAY AND BENEFITS
