Job Summary Pier South Resort, Autograph Collection is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This position plays an important role in providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items are cleaned, processed, and prepared according to our quality and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Duties & Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items. Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently. Maintain appropriate levels of clean linen to support daily hotel operations. Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, or excessive wear and separate items as needed. Properly measure and use laundry detergents and cleaning products according to established procedures. Load, unload, and transport linens using laundry carts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry room and work area. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures. Communicate linen shortages, equipment issues, or maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor or management. Assist the Housekeeping team with additional duties as needed to support hotel operations. Qualifications Previous hotel, housekeeping, or laundry experience is preferred but not required. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment; training will be provided. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move laundry carts and linen throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays based on hotel needs. $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
