In line with our mission, we are heavily immersed in providing assistance and medical services to many animal shelters and animal rescues in the area. Our growing small animal practice is looking for an entry-level individual who is confident, compassionate, and driven to provide excellent care for boarding animals as well as maintain a clean and safe work environment. Duties Include but are not limited to: Providing primary care for all boarding animals Assisting with grooming procedures Assisting veterinarian and RVTs in medical procedures using proper restraint. Processing in-house blood work, as needed Maintaining and sterilizing surgical instruments and packs. Ensuring that the treatment area and exam rooms are stocked with medical supplies Assisting with cleaning exam rooms between appointments Managing cleaning supply inventory and informing DVM promptly if any supplies need to be ordered Sanitizing used runs and kennels for incoming patients and boarding animals Keeping grooming areas clean and organized in accordance with cleaning protocols and checklists Washing and folding laundry to ensure that there is always a supply of clean towels for patients and boarding animals Performing all duties in accordance with hospital medical policies and procedures. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pay:
From $16.90 per hour
