Responsibilities Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold towels, and resident clothing with precision and care. Sort laundry items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained. Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents or damage. Assist with general cleaning duties around facility to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary to ensure uninterrupted service. Requirements Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
