Laundry Attendant Swift Wash & Fold Greenwood Village, CO Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits On-the-job training Employee discount Qualifications Management Inventory management Customer service Moving English Attention to detail Manual handling Full Job Description Laundry Attendant Job Description Swift Wash & Fold are hiring a full-time Laundry Attendant for the 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday shift, paying $20 to $25 per hour. About the Role Customers never see our production floor, so they judge us by what comes back: clean, fresh, complete, and packaged the way they asked. As an Attendant, you take each order from the moment it arrives until it is ready for a Folder. Customer service is the most important thing we do, and it starts with you.

Normal breaks during every shift Volume varies. Some days run longer, and on slow days the manager on staff may send people home early once the work is done. What You'll Do Receive orders from delivery drivers and read the customer preference sheet on Swift Wash & Fold orders before touching the laundry, following it exactly. Weigh in each order and record the weight accurately. Check every pocket and set aside anything found in a found envelope kept with the order. Sort and inspect for stains, damage, and items that need dry cleaning, and ask before washing anything questionable. Wash per the customer's preferences or our standard, without overloading machines. Move loads to the dryers promptly, clean lint filters between loads, and confirm every load is completely dry. Queue finished laundry for Folders, labeled and kept with its order. Help Folders when folding backs up, and look for work before you are asked. Track cleaning supply and linen inventory and tell the General Manager what we are running low on. Report any equipment problem right away.
Keep the facility clean:
vacuum common areas, clean the bathroom, wipe down tables and equipment, and keep floors clear. Leave your station clean, safe, and ready for the next shift. Must Haves Strong attention to detail English proficiency, spoken and written High energy Good communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Nice to Have Commercial Laundry Experience Linen Pressing experience with a large format roller iron Managerial experience What We Expect Four requirements sit above everything else. Timeliness. Be ready to work at your start time, keep loads moving, and finish every order. Speed never means skipping the preference sheet, the pocket check, or the drying check. Use of Technology. Record each order accurately in our order management systems, and update status as you finish each step. Reliable Personal Transportation Ability to Pass a background check Work Environment and Physical Demands This is hands-on production work on a laundry floor. You will work near moving mechanical parts, with occasional warm and dry conditions and a moderate noise level. You will regularly stand for long periods, use your hands to handle and reach, and frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. The job requires regularly lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. Use good judgment with lifting and ask for help with heavy loads rather than risk injury. Education and Growth No certificates or licenses are required, and no formal education beyond basic reading and writing in English. We train on the job. This role has no supervisory responsibilities today, but it can grow into a Lead role.
