April 20, 2021 As Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for using laundering machines to clean articles such as linens, towels, and rags. You will also sort, fold and stock the clean linen back up in storage. How will you do this? The following are the essential functions and responsibilities of the job: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Perform all stages of laundering process including, but not limited to collecting, transporting, sorting, loading and unloading, folding, storing, and delivering. Ensure sheets, other bed linens, towels and other linens are laundered to standards set forth by brand and hotel management. Iron and press linens, as necessary. Inspect linen on regular basis for tears, holes, or sub-standard conditions and remove from inventory. Handle contaminated articles per company, franchise, and OSHA standards. Maintain clean laundry room and facilities; informs appropriate personnel of maintenance needs. Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and linen; informs the General Manager of any inventory needs. Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Follow Company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures. Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals. General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers. Able to understand and speak some of the English language. Able to prioritize work assignments. Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees. Able to work in fast paced environment.EDUCATION

April 20, 2021 GENERAL NOTES Laundry Attendants will be required to work varying schedules as dictated by the business needs of the hotel. This includes attendance at all scheduled brand and job specific training sessions and meetings. May require nights, weekends, and holidays. Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality must be maintained and is an essential element of the success in this role. If Laundry Attendant is unable to meet these requirements, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action based on franchisee operating policies, up to and including termination of employment.
